• Lesson Plan and Lesson Plan Guide: From our research on different schools, we found out that different school has different lesson plan format. And it is very important that teachers maintain the school format. We added lesson plan guide to our system to enable the management set up a pattern for their lesson plan. Also, management took time to supervise teacher’s lesson plans. This job maybe hectic when done manually, our major reason to add lesson plan in our system. The management can always do their job without being restricted by location or time.
•  Lesson Note and Syllables: just like lesson plan, there is need for the management to set a standard syllable for staff to write their note from. Electronic system has a bigger advantage than manual. It saves time in terms of accessibility and gives room for multiple people (students, staff and the management) to have access to the same file at the same time. It makes update easy.
  
• Comprehensive Package: We believe that IT is all about storing data, data management, turning saved data into useful information etc. With such at the back of our mind, we set up outstanding system that take care of everything including, score recording, results analysis, students’ payments record, staff salary record, inventory record, attendance record (bio-metric or manual upload), users (students, staff, parents) data record, information distribution and more.
  
• Maintain and Track User’s Records: The major challenges faced by most school portal is inability to keep track of students’ record especially results. Our school portal keeps track of all students’ record including results, payments, online test scores, attendance etc, starting from day one to the student’s final day in school. Graduated students record are still maintained. They are entitled to visit the website to check any of their records. This again gives us advantage over others.

• Computer Based Test CBT: For the fact that JAMB has chosen computer based test as the major tool for easy conducting of exams and a way of eradicating exam malpractice, we have included computer based test in our school portal system. This is to promote students’ familiarity with the system (CBT) before facing it in any external examinations. Our CBT can be used for assessments, home assignments, exam or practicing exercise. We have both Windows and web versions. The Windows version communicates with the server through the API. No need for manual recording of scores after test. The scores can be uploaded to the server.
  
• Continuous System Update: The school portals we design are very flexible with an array of functions. These portals are in line with the specific needs and peculiarities of different schools and institutions. These needs are constantly evolving, hence the need for a supervised regular update and upgrade. The portals need to be updated regularly to be able to tackle upcoming challenges. • Question Bank: Repeating questions in school examination has resulted in students’ practicing only past questions in preparation for examination. This is as a result of teachers being unable to ask new questions. Teachers should not be blamed totally since they don’t have conducive storage facilities for their questions. Our school portal comes with attractive interface and text editor for setting any type of questions including support for upload/attachment of images. Being an online system, teachers are at liberty to push in questions from anywhere at any time.
